The characteristics of current Slovak mountain destinations is based on the primary research with using the methods of descriptive statistics. The information about the innovation trends in marketing instruments in mountain destinations are based on the research of annual reports, web pages, marketing strategies and internal materials of selected Slovak and Swiss mountain destination.
