| Anotácia | Incentives as government interventions in business environment are mainly reasoned by effort to increase competitiveness of enterprises, equalize regional differences or reduce unemployment. Current economic schools have contradictory attitudes towards this form of redistribution and support of business investment. In the past decase, Slovak government has stimulated large investment projects, mainly through Investment Incentives Act. Results of this support are questionable. The aim of this article is to define theoretical background of public financial aid to enterprises and to highlight factors, which have effect on competitiveness. Second part of article is focused on analysis of financial aid realised in Slovakia during years 2002-2012 |
