    AnotáciaThe study deals with the vegetation cover of the four quarries situated in the north-eastern part of the Zvolenská kotlina basin and on southern front area of the Low Tatras Mountains near the villages Priechod and Podkonice. In these quarries, the vegetation structure and plant diversity were assessed on the basis of field observations and plants inventory. This research was supplemented by the specific vegetation parameters and by the proportion of the individual vegetation layers in the territories evaluated. The total of 216 taxa of vascular plants were determined, amoung them also vulnerable ones. The total number of plants determined in all the quarries include 41,7 % of the various categories of the synanthropic taxa, and 10,2 of the invasive and expansive taxa. The most natural character has quarry Jaramušovo near villages Priechod, Baláže. Príspevok sa týka analýzy vegetácie na vybraných lomoch
