| 330 | 0- | $a The research was realized in paediatric and allergologic ambulances in Martin and Banská Bystrica in 2005-2006. To interpret 517 questionnaires, chi-quadrate test and Fisher´s test were used. We can confirm the protective influence of breastfeeding against the origin of allergies. This survey indicates that exclusive breastfeeding has a preventive effect on the origin of allergic diseases in all cases. Allergic children suffer from more serious respiratory illnesses and their frequency is higher in comparison with the non-allergic ones. The results confirmed the genetic importance in transfer the allergic illnesses. However, it can not be exactly said how is the influence of booth the early consummation of the solid food and/or the age of accession to the collective on occurrence of allergies. No dependence between the birth weight and lenght and origin of allergic illnesses was observed. Pre-natal and childhood exposure to parental tobacco smoke, as well as the local differences, showed no statistically important relations with the occurence of allergies |
