Application of innovations in mountain resorts in Slovakia = Uplatňovanie inovácií v horských strediskách na Slovensku / Vanda Maráková, Zuzana Lencsésová. -- The aim of the article is to analyze the characteristics of Slovak mountain destinations, examine the trends in innovations of marketing instruments in Slovak and Swiss mountain destinations and to draw up the implementation process of innovation in mountain destinations. The characteristics of current Slovak mountain destinations is based on the primary research with using the methods of descriptive statistics. The information about the innovation trends in marketing instruments in mountain destinations are based on the research of annual reports, web pages, marketing strategies and internal materials of selected Slovak and Swiss mountain destination.
