It is surrounded by a beautiful nature and has rich cultural and historical heritage. Spania Dolina is an ancient mining village, which history dates back to the Bronze Age. The heyday of mining in the 15th century influenced the character of the village. From technical monuments the surface adits and shafts have been maintained in the village since today. The article analyses tourism potential of Spania Dolina and based on questionnaire inquiring, it also evaluates the interest of visitors for the village. The results indicate that visitors come here especially with the motive to get know the village and its mining heritage, a third of respondents wants to have a rest and relax in the nature. Most respondents visited Spania Dolina for the first time. Visitors come mainly in the summer. In terms of length of stay, most surveyed only come to visit the village without overnight stay, followed by short stays.
