When discovering individual types of crises, their causes and essence, signs, consequences and ways of overcoming them, we register a strong political study, economic, international-political, security, sociolog ical, but also social-psychological aspect of scientific knowledge, which is also very closely connected to the subject of general politics and public ad ministration. In this case, the character of political science as an intersection of science and the scientific potential of economics provides a fundamental starting point for the application of an interdisciplinary approach when investigating the issue of crisis and crisis decision-making in a modern and postmodern situation
