Krško, Jaromír, 1967- Tlak ideológie na propriálnu stránku jazykovej krajiny - na príklade banskobystrickej urbanonymie / Jaromír Krško. -- The paper analyses the influence of ideology on the shape of the linguistic landscape of Banská Bystrica, specifically on the diachronic development of Banská Bystrica's urbanonymy in its wider centre from the earliest times to the 1990s. In this time span, there have been several political regimes, which, from the position of the power, also created pressure to change the names of streets and squares. Ideological pressures were manifested in the period of Austria-Hungary, later after the establishment of the first Czechoslovak Republic in 1918, during the wartime Slovak State, the 1948 communist takeover and the establishment of totalitarian communist power, up to the revolution in 1989 and the onset of democratic changes.
