Critical thinking is one of the key competences of a university-educated person. Slovakia‘s performance in the international educational achievement studies (PISA, TIMSS) are unsatisfactory. Students have difficulty identifying valuable information sources, assessing their credibility, and then formulating their own conclusions and justifying their opinion. We believe that if this competence is not developed through various innovative methods and approaches, the students will not be able to think critically.
