National Park. We excerpted some data from bibliography and we gained many relevant data from field research in the Low Tatra Mts. In the Red Book of Slovakia Tatra chamois is classified into the category of critically endangered animals what concerns the conservation of animals. Tatra chamois occurs mainly in central part of the Low Tatra Mts. (from west to east: from Chabenec peak to Štiavnica peak, and from north to south: from Bôry peak to Skalka peak). Some discuss about history and background of chamois in the Low Tatra Mts. is preventing in that time. Tatra chamois was brought to the Low Tatra Mts. about 30 years ago (started in 1968 to 1976) to Lomnistá Valley. State Forest Enterprise of Slovakia (affiliated forest enterprise Predajná) brought 30 individuals of different sex from the High Tatra Mts. (recent habitat). In 2006 the abundance ranged 93 and 97 individuals. The main habitat that chamois prefers is siliceous alpine and boreal grasslands, hydrophilous tall-herb fringe communities of the alpine level, mountain hay meadows and siliceous scree of the mountain to snow level (Androsacetalia alpine and Galeopsetalia ladani). The main negative impact in the Low Tatra Mts. are as follows: indirect mountainous tourism, movement in mountains outside marked trails, illegal camping in the alpine environment, picking forest fruit (blueberry, cranberry) and sometimes collecting the thallus of lichen or moss, winter climbing, skiing on ski slopes, ski mountaineering, flying with motor aeroplanes and motorless aeroplanes and paragliding, motorcycling, snow cycling and sometimes 62 driving outside roads in mountains. Some scientific researches had managed Administration of National Park. The present research includes genetic variable of the population of Tatra chamois in the Slovakia and Central Europe, evaluation of large carnivores such as wolf and lynx. In 2004 there started telemetry research of chamois with spatial distributional and real time analyses of ecology and behavioural ecology. Ours recommendations and evaluation of Tatra chamois in the Low Tatra Mts. National Park are: a) regular monitoring and summarization of population (twice per calendar year, first in June/July and second in November/December); b) direct of tourist activities in the mountainous environment with use Instructions for visitors in the National Park; c) Interpret telemetry research in the short time and elicit scientific data, and apply them in practical biological conservation; d) intake of samples for genetic analyses by non-invasive methods (excrement, coat and fibre material); f) monitoring of the movement of Alpine chamois to the close habitat in the west and east (Slovenský raj Mts. and Veľká Fatra Mts.), due to probably great impact of mixed genetic sample between Tatra chamois and Alpine chamois Kategória publikačnej činnosti AED Číslo archívnej kópie 14844 Kategória ohlasu ZEMANOVÁ, Barbora - HÁJKOVÁ, Petra - HÁJEK, Bedřich - MARTINKOVÁ, Natália - MIKULÍČEK, Peter - ZIMA, Jan - BRYJA, Josef.
