Positive changes in self-control and in self-esteem, it is the one of such way. We realize it by using of yoga training. The goal of research project is not only to define the methods, but also to describe correlations of psychic states and of social risks of obesity and overweight by children. For inquest prevalence obesity we are using method BMI, callipers-Ace meanly Parizkova, bioelectrical impedance by the help of apparatus Bodystat 500. For the first phase anthropometric metering we are chance by selection chose Insider 8 fundamental school in Ceske Budejovice. In these schools it was address 585 pupils in ordinary age 13,6 years (8th classes). We investigated 22 classes. We present our experiences and results from screening and from an interventional program as well. We found out that the number of obese children in our sample is similar as facts in references. We can confirm that our results could be higher in number of children, because mere as 60 % children did not want be diagnosed (esp. children with overweight) Public work category BEF No. of Archival Copy E1542 Catal.org.
