This phenomena forces enterprises, especially small and medium-sized, to undertake actions aimed at security of provision of IT service level, that has been negotiated with the client. The realization of that aim is not an easy task, and demand adoption of IT service management strategies by the enterprises. ITSM approach is based on satisfying client’s business needs by the IT service provider. The management of IT services in small and medium sized enterprises should begin from development and deployment of service catalog. This article describes the service catalog adoption as well as chosen processes of IT service management, on the basis of primary research. Achieving this task is strengthen by the existence of IT service management frameworks such as ITIL or ISO/IEC 20000.
