    AnnotationSprávna analýza neistôt v metrológii si mnohokrát vyžaduje model s nelineárnymi rovnicami merania a netriviálnou združenou mnohorozmernou distribučnou funkciou vstupných veličín. V príspevku sa dáva dôraz na výhody prístupu vzorkovania z distribúcie výstupných veličín cez charakteristické funkcie založenom na distribúcii typu kopula vstupných veličín s marginálnymi distribúciami daného konvolučného typu. Proper uncertainty analysis in metrology frequently requires using model with a nonlinear measurement equations and non-trivial joint multivariate distribution of the input quantities. In the paper we emphasize the advantage of using the Characteristic Function Approach for sampling from the distribution of the output quantities, based on the joint copula-type distribution of the input quantities with given convolution-type marginal distributions.

The paper deals with the errors-in-variables (EIV) linear calibration of the gas mixture of ethanol in nitrogen with unknown concentration. Suggested is a new approach for determination the unknown values of the calibration line parameters obtained by modeling the calibration experiment as an EIV model

    AnnotationWe consider a problem of constructing the exact and/or approximate coverage intervals for the common mean of several independent distributions. In a metrological context, this problem is closely related to evaluation of the interlaboratory comparison experiments, and in particular, to determination of the reference value (estimate) of a measurand and its uncertainty, or alternatively, to determination of the coverage interval for a measurand at a given level of confidence, based on such comparison data. We present a brief overview of some specific statistical models, methods, and algorithms useful for determination of the common mean and its uncertainty, or alternatively, the proper interval estimator. We illustrate their applicability by a simple simulation study and also by example of interlaboratory comparisons for temperature. In particular, we shall consider methods based on (i) the heteroscedastic common mean fixed effect model, assuming negligible laboratory biases, (ii) the het
