Descr. monografie - monographies Language English Country Germany Annotation Diversity management requires understanding of legal requirements and their implications for the process. It is not conceivable that the legal reality, in particular the mandatory minimum granted to employees un der a legal regulation, be presented as a measure promoting diversity in the work place. The de lege lata situation may "only" be the starting point for implement ing diversity strategies, which are thus built, to a certain extent, on the optional and voluntary initiatives of the stakeholders. Further, the monograph presents those legislative measures that promote diversity in the workplace. It also offers an interpretation for legally consistent applicability of those measures, which may serve as a basis to build on further.
