AnnotationConvexity is one of the most important geometric properties of sets and a useful concept in many fields of mathematics, like optimization. As there are also important applications making use of fuzzy optimization, it is obvious that the studies of convexity are also frequent. In this paper we have extended the notion of convexity for hesitant fuzzy sets in order to fulfill some necessary properties. Namely, we have found an appropriate definition of convexity for hesitant fuzzy sets on any ordered universe based on aggregation functions such that it is compatible with the intersection, that is, the intersection of two convex hesitant fuzzy sets is a convex hesitant fuzzy set and it fulfills the cutworthy property.

AnnotationConvexity is a very important property in many areas and the studies of this property are frequent. In this paper, we have extended the notion of convexity for interval-valued fuzzy sets based on differ- ent order between intervals. The considered orders are related and their behavior analyzed. In particular, we study the preservation of the convex- ity under intersections, where again the chosen order is essential. After this study, we can conclude the appropriate behavior of the admissible orders for this purpose.

AnnotationIn this work we deal with a particular type of hesitant fuzzy set, in the case where membership values can appear multiple times and are ordered. They are called ordered ordinary fuzzy multisets. Some operations between them are introduced by means of an extension principle. In particular, the divergence measures between two of these multisets are defined and we have studied in detail the local family of divergences. Finally, these measures are related to the ones given for ordinary fuzzy sets

AnnotationCertain extensions of the classical fuzzy sets have been studied in depth since they have a remarkable importance in many practical situations. We focus on finite interval-valued hesitant fuzzy sets, as they generalize the most usual sets (fuzzy sets, interval-valued fuzzy sets, intuitionistic fuzzy sets), so the results obtained can be immediately adapted to these types of sets. In addition, their membership functions are much more manageable than type-2 fuzzy sets. In this work, the cardinality of finite interval-valued hesitant fuzzy sets is studied from an axiomatic point of view, together with several properties that this definition satisfies, which enable to relate it to the classical definitions of cardinality given by other authors for fuzzy sets

AnnotationRecently, some extensions of the classical fuzzy sets are studied in depth due to the good properties that they present. Among them, in this paper finite interval-valued hesitant fuzzy sets are the central piece of the study, as they are a generalization of more usual sets, so the results obtained can be im- mediately adapted to them. In this work, the cardinality of finite interval- valued hesitant fuzzy sets is studied from an ax- iomatic point of view, along with several properties that this definition satisfies, being able to relate it to the classical definitions of cardinality given by Wygralak or Ralescu for fuzzy sets
