| Annotation | PSI X 1166 (GA 0207) is a single leaf of a de luxe parchment copy of the Apocalypse dated to the fourth century. The fact that this important manuscript is (1) fragmentary and (2) contains pagination invites questions concerning its original contents. Following this line of inquiry, the present article outlines the codicological problems at hand and offers various possible solutions, of which the most plausible one appears to be that, in this particular manuscript, the Apocalypse was originally preceded by the four canonical Gospels |
