Hrončeková Gregorová, Bohuslava, Gregorová, 1982- Funkčno-priestorová transformácia rekreačnej obce Donovaly = Functional spatial transformation of recreational centre Donovaly / Bohuslava Gregorová. -- In our article we analyze the functional and spatial changes that the settlements of Donovaly have passed during their development. Our aim is to uncover the causes of these changes and describe, how they have manifested in the territory of Donovaly's saddleback. The changes of functions are monitored in the context of the development model of tourism destination, made by R. Butler. Based on our current research, we have identified three of the six phases of the development of tourist centers - phase of recreational exploration, penetration and development of tourism in the form of assimilation, colonization and urbanization. The result is a model of tourism development in the Donovaly village, which documents the transformation of social-economical functions to recreational functions.
