However, MCQs can also provide excellent opportunities for learning, especially if students author the questions and explain their answers, and if they are provided with immediate corrective feedback when answering the questions. The PeerWise tool is an online platform that enables students to cooperatively generate a large bank of MCQs, which the entire class can curate and use for drill-and-practice style review.
