Peňáz, Milan Ichthyocoenoses of water bodies of the Poľana protected landscape inhabited by the Otter, Lutra lutra / Milan Peňáz, Ivanka Kožená, Peter Urban. -- The occurrence of fishes, their individual and average lenghts and weights, their abundance and biomass were investigated in the main water bodies, both running and stagnant, of the Poľana PLA, central Slovakia, from the viewpoint of the feeding habits of the otter, Lutra lutra. The results obtained by this ichthyological survey, were exhaustively discussed and conclusions were proposed, aiming to restore the endangered otter population and to increase the efficiency of measures applied in their protection
