    AnnotationThe theme of the paper is the quality of a Slovak teacher in the context of the ongoing social discussion on education reform, the success of which is directly dependent on one key factor – a good teacher. Its aim is to present findings from mixed-method research focused on finding out social representations of great teacher from the perspective of primary school pupils. We used Q-methodology. We compiled 60 ecologically valid items that represented important characteristics of great teachers from the perspective of secondary education pupils (ISCED 2).
