    AnnotationSUMMARY GOJU-RYU KATA - Forms of opened hands, kaishu. Training manual 2 The author, Ing. et Mgr. Ján Pivovarník, 5th qualification level trainer, presents the expertise and experience from his long-term trainer and scientific activity. Training manual 2 is concentrated on Goju-ryu kaishu kata (Geksai Dai ichi and ni, Saifa, Seiyunchin, Sanseru, Shisóchin, Seisan, Seipai, Kururunfa and Suparinpei). These forms are analyzed and explained to the karateka so he or she can sense differences between kata, their applicability, and impact on human organism. All requisites are put forward in an expert, historic, philosophic view with incorporation of the yin-yang system, chinese traditional view on meridians, and personal findings obtained by long-term training. Graphical representations help with explantation. The introductory part outlines ways of perceiving karate with division on basic, sport, high and master karate, and shows basic line of masters. The core is composed of descriptions of individual forms, their historical perception, descriptions of training and possibilities of application. The final part is dedicated to general patterns and concretization of principles. Findings are a summary of overall knowledge and are dedicated to sensei Takeji Ogawa, 9. dan Goju-ryu, teacher of slovak karate.
