    AnnotationOur study focuses on Czech nurses’ attitudes to their patients who come from various ethnic minorities, especially Roma, German, Slovac, Muslim, Ukrainian, Vietnamese. Empirical objectives: 1. T o map the differences in connotative meanings of terms: the Czech, Romany, Muslim, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Slovak patient in qualified nurses in the Czech Republic. 2. T o find out, whether and in what connotative meanings of the terms the Czech, Romany, Muslim, Ukrainian, Vietnamese and Slovak patient differ in nurses with direct experience and without experience in caring for these patients. 3. T o find out, how selected national and cultural groups of patients are spaced out in a semantic space of Czech nurses. The applied research methodology: a questionnaire with multi-factorial scales of a semantic differential according to Charles Osgood
