It specifically addresses the need to ensure the protection of people in general, as well as their basic social rights (requirements), which consist of law, economy, and politics. What drives man to society is an emergency that literally forces him to associate with other people for a given purpose. These purposes may be different, may come from different affinities that differ from one another, so Kant aims to provide a legal framework to define the influence and legitimacy of these different individual claims.
