The main objective of the project is to create, apply and evaluate an optimal model of discipline management in the classroom, which influences the effectiveness of teaching and leadership in the field of self-control and self-regulation. The positive learning climate in a classroom requires the teacher to focus on modifying but especially on preventing unwanted pupils' behaviour. The authors present two specific programs to manage discipline in the classroom and guide pupils to self-control. Educational programs were modified for primary school in Slovakia. "The Good Start" is aimed for pupil in the first grade and "Good Behaviour Game" for 2nd and 3rd grade of primary school and was verified in the classroom with pupil in the 8 age. Verified program includes both modifying and prevention techniques, with an emphasis on leading a pupil to self-discipline.
